Meet Tjasa Strle Cross-Cultural Leadership Coach & Future Self Activator
Leadership coach, workshop facilitator, and visionary thinker dedicated to helping individuals unlock their full potential and achieve their goals.
I'm a Cross-Cultural Leadership Coach and Future Self Activator, but my journey here has been anything but straightforward. It's been a path of discovery, challenges, and profound growth – much like the journey of global leadership itself.
Growing up in Slovenia, I always felt drawn to the wider world and the person I could become in it.
My cross-cultural exploration started when I went studying to Spain. This is when the sparkle for getting to know different cultures and learning from them ignited. After that, I went to India, specifically New Delhi, to work in an NGO. India, in particular, had a big impact on my life. It was such a different culture from mine, and at that time, I was struck by how much we can learn from each other.
I realized that no culture is perfect, but there are aspects of each culture that we could integrate to become better as humans, lead better teams, and create better businesses. This insight has shaped my approach to leadership and coaching ever since.
My journey didn't stop there. I also lived and worked in Greece and Turkey, and I've been an avid traveler, constantly exploring different cultures and environments. Each experience has added a layer to my understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and leadership.
I also worked in an international organization where I was managing more than 50 global ambassadors in more than 25 cities all around the globe. This experience gave me the opportunity to learn from different cultures and craft my leadership style of cross-cultural leadership. I dove deep into understanding cross-cultural dynamics, got my ICF coaching accreditation, and developed an approach that combines cultural intelligence with future self-activation. I speak Slovene, English, Spanish, Croatian, and know the basics of a couple of more languages.
Today, I partner with executives and high-potential leaders who are navigating the complexities of global leadership. My approach is straightforward – I'll challenge you, push you out of your comfort zone, and help you connect with the leader you're meant to be. But I'll do it with empathy, because I've walked in those uncomfortable shoes.
Whether you're struggling with team cohesion across time zones, feeling lost in cross-cultural negotiations, or sensing a disconnect between your current leadership style and your future vision, I'm here to help you not just survive, but thrive.
I'm also a strong advocate for women in leadership, and I volunteer my time mentoring young female professionals navigating international careers, helping them envision and work towards their future selves in the global arena.
Beyond Work
When I'm not coaching, you'll find me exploring new corners of the world, or connecting in person or virtualy with different people from all around the globe. These adventures continually remind me of the beauty in our diverse world and the importance of the work we do in bridging cultures.
In the landscape of global leadership, our differences aren't obstacles – they're opportunities for growth, innovation, and connection. Your future self as a cross-cultural leader is waiting. Let's go meet them together.
